Under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering & Counter Terrorist Financing) Act 2010 to open a standard account in a financial institution including Cavan Credit Union you must have up to date records on file such as:

1. Photographic ID:
   1. Current driving license,
   2. Current passport
   3. National photographic ID card
   4. ML10 form from Gardai with picture.
2. Proof of Address:
   1. A letter from Revenue/ Government Dept/ local authority
   2. Bank/ Credit Card Statement
   3. Utility Bill
   4. Household/ motor insurance cert
3. Proof of PPS Number: (Personal Public Service Number) on official document

Membership fee of €5 is needed to open the account. €5 is required to keep the account activated.
